Terms of Service

Welcome to Brain Booster Academy and EgPadhai. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (https://brain-booster-academy.web.app/), our YouTube channels, and all related educational services, both online and offline (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, seeking admission, or attending our institute, you (the student) and your parents/guardians agree to be bound by these Terms and all our rules and regulations. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Services.

1. General Conduct and Discipline

• Purpose: Upon seeking admission, it is assumed the student has an earnest educational purpose. Students are expected to aim for high achievement and conduct themselves in a responsible, dignified manner at all times.
• Discipline: If a teacher or the In-Charge feels a student is not working hard, is undisciplined, disturbing classes, irregular in attendance, or not responding properly, the student may be expelled from the institute. The decision of the In-Charge is final and binding.
• Mobile Phones & Devices: Students are not allowed to use mobile phones or iPads in the classrooms. If brought to the institute, they must be switched off. The institute is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to mobile phones, valuables, or cash.
• Misbehaviour: If any parent, guardian, or student misbehaves with any staff member, the student may be rusticated from the institute immediately. No refund claims will be entertained in such cases.

2. Admissions and Attendance

• Admission Forms: Incomplete admission forms will be rejected. Mandatory attachments include attested photocopies of the previous class mark sheet and recent passport-size photographs. Valid email IDs and mobile numbers must be provided; the institute is not responsible for failed correspondence if these are missing.
• Attendance: If a student is absent without prior information for more than 15 days, they may be expelled at the discretion of the Managing Director.
• Study Materials: Study materials are provided during classes. They will not be given to students who are absent without prior application from a parent. Lost or misplaced study materials can be replaced against a payment determined by the institute.
• Identity Cards: Each student will be issued an ID card. Entry to the classroom/institute requires this ID. If lost, a duplicate can be issued against a payment of Rs. 50/-. Misuse of the ID card will result in rustication.

3. Fees and Payments

• No Refunds: As detailed in our Refund Policy, fees once deposited towards any particular course are strictly non-refundable for whatsoever reason.
• Fee Negotiation & Instalments: Any negotiation regarding fee payment or instalments must be cleared and written at the time of admission. If an instalment is not paid within the stipulated time, a grace period of only 10 days is given. Afterward, admission is automatically considered cancelled.
• Taxes: If the Central Government increases service taxes or applicable levies, the extra amount will be borne by the student from the date of enforcement.

4. Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded based on merit tests. All decisions regarding scholarships are at the sole discretion of the Academy. For two-year programs, the scholarship is applicable against the 2nd-year fee (deducted from the last instalment).

5. Intellectual Property and Use of Services

• Our content (video lectures, notes, quizzes, etc.) is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, sell, or exploit our materials without permission.
• Promotional Rights: The institute reserves the right to publish photographs of toppers, rankers, and successful students, as well as images of running classes. The institute is not liable to any legal proceedings regarding this.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability

• No Guarantees: We do not guarantee success in any particular entrance exam. Students are accountable for their own success; we serve as their guides.
• Application Forms: The institute is not responsible for the eligibility, forwarding of application forms, or appearance of a student in any entrance test.
• Force Majeure: If any mishap occurs in the institute premises due to situations beyond our control or natural calamities (earthquake, flood, fire, electric short circuit, etc.), the institute shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever.

7. Administrative Rights

The institute reserves the right to alter its program, venue, timing, days of classes, and fee structure without prior notice. The decision of the In-Charge will be final and binding on students and parents.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Every dispute falls strictly under the jurisdiction of the Jabalpur High Court. These Terms are governed by the laws of Madhya Pradesh, India.
